TCS Executive Training Rooms

For senior-most TCS executives, training rooms were to be designed, where training would continuously go on for a week. We provided appropriate seating, which would be comfortable & unconventional. Space was to be planned in a way that it could be used as two independent training rooms & combined when required. We took care of acoustically designing these spaces in-house.

Also, around 900 sq.ft. training room was to be designed keeping in mind young minds & freshers.

Space had to functional to serve the purpose of a classroom where each trainee had to be visible to the trainer & vice versa. Acoustics & Ergonomics played a vital role in this.

Our Solution

For the senior executives: We used colourful textiles in the backdrop with insulated panels to reflect Made in India & brighten up space. White back painted glass boards were used as paneling end to end to give the trainer flexibility to write wherever they stood, and it doubled up as a surface to reflect images from the projector.

At one end of the space, we planned for a juice bar with high bar stools. On the other end, we provided for break-out zones, with a cafeteria look of comfortable couches and armchairs. These were alternative arrangements created to suit different body postures as executives spent long hours in this space.

For the trainees: We designed a vibrant Training facility of 900 sq.ft. at the Godrej & Boyce, Vikhroli for training freshers at TCS.

Space had to functional to serve the purpose of a classroom where each trainee had to be visible to the trainer & vice versa. Acoustics & Ergonomics played a vital role in this.

We designed desks that neatly concealed a desktop and lent the right ergonomics.

The back wall was to act as a backdrop to showcase the stalwarts of the TATA empire. We paneled the front wall with back painted glass to serve as a writing board and a projector screen. The sidewalls served as acoustic barriers and can be used to pin up data. The trainer could use the glasses mounted on the side to write meaningful quotes or impart data.
